i'm baaack!

hello everyone!

i'm not sure if anyone will read this, seeing that it has been so long since my last post. however, i just wanted to let to let you all know that i'm still performing & appreciate the support that you all have given me!

this year, i am going to be in the production of Grease, with the Lindbjerg Academy's new Elite group. it's going to be a great year and i will post show dates when i know more details!

Annie has opened!!

Wow, it is hard to believe that Annie has finally started. I have been rehearsing almost 20 hours per week since mid-September and tonight is opening night!!

The cast has been so much fun to work with. It is going to be an awesome show. I hope you can make it!!

Kindness Rocked at Templeton!!

What a great day! Today I performed with Kindness Rocks again. We did two concerts at Templeton High School. In the morning we had about 1200 elementary students and in the afternoon it was all 1000+ Templeton High School students. We have never done the show for high school kids before. I think they really liked it. They were crowd surfing while I was singing, clapping and cheering the whole time, they were even holding up their cell phones like they do at big concerts! We even had a bunch of kids jump up on stage at the end of the finale. Hello security - just kidding. It was so much fun. We are doing another show in October some time out in Tsawaassen.

The PNE was great!

I was very excited to have the chance to compete in the Red Robinson Talent Showdown this year. The song I performed was 'One Kind Hand'. The judges picked me out of the kids I was competing against in the semi-finals to win the $250.00 prize and a spot in the finals for a chance to win $10,000. In the finals I was competing against 13 people from all the age groups - kids, youth and adult. I didn't win the big money, but the guy that did was 28 years old and really good.

Saving the Earth is Child's Play...

On June 12, I am singing at "Saving the Earth is Child's Play".

A Night with Destino...

Last night was the Destino concert that I was invited to sing at. We sang "The Prayer" together as a group - it was so amazing!! The Stanley Theatre was sold out, and everyone loved the show. I met some really great people, and had a picture taken with my family that will be appearing in Vancouver View Magazine later in the spring - I will post a link to it once it is out.
